Principal Software Architect at Red Canary, a Zscaler Company, Brian Davis has been building and monitoring complex systems for over two decades, ranging from signal-processing algorithms to complex data-processing applications, deploying these on Solaris servers, on-prem virtual machines, and the cloud. Like any observability nerd, he runs a Prometheus server at home and has a love-hate relationship (mostly hate) with just about every relational database he’s ever met.
